How to copy photos from Nexus 6 camera to PC?

I did it once before when we went to Comic Con last month but I've forgot how I did it.

Do I plug my phone into the PC via USB cable?

Can anyone offer some quick help? Been to Barnsley Comic Con today and took loads of pics I want to download from the camera on my Nexus 6 phone.

I downloaded the pics and uploaded them to my Facebook, to which there is a link in my signature.
