How to deal with overstimulation?

Hello! I'm new here, and I have recently self diagnosed myself as an Aspie. My therapist agrees with this diagnosis, anyway, I have this issue where I get overstimulated by loud and bright environments, especially at work(I work at a Daycare part time). During the winter, I would wear a beanie Bluetooth headphone during times when I was just cleaning the facility and that was enough to calm me down. But now that it's getting hot its becoming more of a hindrance. However I need something to calm me down or else I get overstimulated and meltdown later that evening. Do you guys have any ideas or suggestions?

On facebook, a contact of mine, who's grandson is high functioning autism, liked a page and I looked at the video and thought: oh my goodness me that is so calming.

I will have to search for it online, but it comes in a bottle with different coloured liquids etc and is for the purpose to calm us on the spectrum.

If I find the link, I will post it.
