Howdy

Good to meet others here. Glad the forum exists.

Two years ago at 59, was formally diagnosed with combined Autism Spectrum and ADHD.
I guess the two occur together pretty frequently.

In reading literature about both, I have more insight now in how my past behavior has impacted my, and other's lives. To do better is my goal.

Concerning the autism part, I'd say I'm "mid-functioning".

Hello! Welcome to the forum.

Howdy back! Come on in and find a spot. Lots of late Dxed, early, dxed, not-dxed at all and lots of people wanting to learn more.

Welcome Jeff,

I hope when you say mid-functioning that you are not thinking of yourself as a bit thick, for your words do not suggest that in any way, and what is so called high-functioning any way?

I may be described as that but I am so inept, nay non-functioning, on so many levels of importance that it is something of a meaningless term. I may have a high IQ according to the mental gymnastics games that are played, but that does not make me proficient at anything but playing those games.

Stick around, you just may be surprised by what you discover about yourself.

Hi and welcome, it's good that you are here. I hope you will add your ideas and opinions to threads, or start your own discussion threads here, ideas and strategies are welcome.

Welcome, Jeff.

I'm glad you found this forum and decided to join us.
I was late diagnosed in 50's and participating here has helped me understand myself
and others very much.
Never heard of Asperger's then. It all fits though and that helps so much. :seedling::leafwind::tulip::bee::seedling::bug:
