Went to the huge "World's Greatest Hobby" on tour show today. This special show has not only dealers selling trains of all scales, but also many of the manufactures of those trains. I have been wanting Lionel (one of my 2 prefered brands of trains) to make a special autism car. I am having some made for me by someone, but I spoke to thier representive and such a car is "on the table" for future production. They (Lionel) did in fact do a special autism day at one of the other WGH shows last year. While I know many do not care for the primary group that does so much fundraising, but its what we have for now. I know many autistic children like trains, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that a car gets made. I am having a pair of Lionel engines and a freight car, along with an LGB brand G scale passenger car done with an autism awareness/acceptance theme. My older friend that went with me got wore out pretty fast, and that was a good thing as although I would have stayed much longer, my anxiety wasn't going to take the crowd and noise much longer. I am in my "down time" now, recovering. Going to go run some trains as soon as I post this. Mike
