Hurricane Ian is going to be arriving for me soon.. just lots of rain and wind all day. I’m scared that the powers gonna go out tonight. I like meteorology, but the concept of being in a hurricane or tornado scares me!

Wish I could have been there. I love big storms. Out here lightning is rare.
No idea how, but my power is still on. Everyone I know has lost theirs
Fastest wind speed I've ever personally encountered was earlier in the year when we were having 50mph+ gusts. A bit feeble compared to what is going on over there right now.
powers been out for 12 hours here.. hopefully it comes back tomorrow. My friend has a bday party in two days and it’ll be sad if we have to miss it
