I think this personality type/temperament combination is highly relatable.

An INTP with a hyperthymic temperament would likely exhibit a combination of traits like intense intellectual curiosity and a love for deep thinking characteristic of INTPs, alongside a naturally high energy level, optimism, and enthusiasm for life that is typical of a hyperthymic temperament, potentially making them very lively and engaging conversationalists with a strong desire to explore complex ideas with others. [1, 2, 3]
Key characteristics of this combination: [1, 2, 3]

• Energetic and enthusiastic about intellectual pursuits: While INTPs are often introverted, a hyperthymic temperament could push them to actively seek out stimulating conversations and intellectual challenges, readily sharing their ideas with others. [1, 2, 3]
• Creative problem-solving with a positive outlook: Their optimism and high energy could lead them to approach problems with a creative mindset, looking for innovative solutions while maintaining a positive attitude. [1, 2, 4]
• Socially engaging despite introverted tendencies: A hyperthymic INTP might be more outgoing than a typical INTP, enjoying social interactions while still needing time alone to recharge and process information. [1, 2, 3]
• Rapid idea generation and quick thinking: Their high energy level could fuel rapid brainstorming sessions, generating a constant stream of new ideas and perspectives. [1, 2, 4]
• Potential for over-enthusiasm: A downside could be a tendency to get overly excited about new ideas or projects, sometimes leading to unrealistic expectations or jumping from one interest to another quickly. [1, 2, 4]

Important considerations: [1, 2, 4]

• Individual variation: Not all INTPs with hyperthymic traits will manifest these characteristics in the same way, and individual experiences and life situations will influence how these traits are expressed.
• Potential for challenges: While a hyperthymic temperament can be positive, it could sometimes lead to difficulties with focus or managing energy levels, especially if not balanced with adequate self-care. [1, 2, 4]

I think this could overlap with the idea of someone who has the INTP personality type while simultaneously having either the hyperactive or combined ADHD subtypes.
