As you guys probably know, I am not afraid to make use of a hypnosis recording to come down from a panic attack or anxiety, but there's sort of a recreational side to it, too, in the form of "transformation" inductions. Last night I decided to use my free time to do a "become any kind of character" transformation, and I chose a stick figure character I designed for an animation forum site, his name is Nils, and he's sort of a martial-arts/elemental spellcaster-type character. I spent a lot of time writing Nils' bio and what he can do, and my therapist even thinks I did a good job creating Nils, with the exception of suggesting that instead of fighting to fend off an opponent, he should subdue them instead (remember: she's helping me learn to not think violent thoughts) and not harm them.
Now that you have context, I'll be getting to the point: I listened to this hypnosis file as an experiment; the idea was that if I "became" Nils himself, I would be able to further polish the design of his character. Surprisingly, it worked so well, that I still remember how to "transform" into Nils and back!
And it's still going! It should dissipate within a little while, but honestly this is kinda cool! I'm refraining from transforming around people at the moment because I don't want anyone in the house to think I'm crazy or something.
You guys need to try this!
