I am a driven man

Mattymatt

Imperfectly Perfect
Since I am getting back into truck driving (firm date) starting on Monday, August 6th I would like to be down a little more in weight so I am going to buckle down the eating. Last March I had gastric bypass and I am down 70 pounds. Ideally, I'd like to drop another 10-20 pounds before starting work. The less weight I carry, the easier the job will be and I know this really well. I took a look at food logs and saw some not-so-good foods starting to creep back in. So, it's back to the straight and narrow.

Yes good resolution I could lose a pound or two myself. Or a stone. I blame the dark winter nights of snacking. Oops it's summer. But healthier eating is easier when there's plenty of interesting veg and fruits. I swim more in summer too. I expect exercise is limited in a driving jobs, though they are probably hard work to manoeuvre? Good luck with your eating plan. :greenapple::strawberry::cherries::maize::melon::pear::peach::grapes::stew::tomato::watermelon::sake::tangerine:

Weight loss is like driving: if you ever veer off the road, make a U-turn and head back in the right direction. (Author unknown)

Me too, ice cream and M & M's are creeping back in. Twice so far this summer. When I start cycling my weight needs to lean, each and every year after the winter my legs feel flabby.

Losing weight is something I should get into as well. I'd suggest cutting back on sugar as well as getting exercise too.

I eat a lot less when I'm driving so maybe that'll help with weight loss too.

I eat less in summer usually too, it's too hot to even feel hungry, I usually drink more water then and it's too hot to cook! I'm not big on exercising but I have an exercise bike, I tend to ride it for a minute or two, several times a day, oddly enough it helps since I've lost some weight just doing this for a few weeks. And I don't know if this is normal but I periodically take a drop of CBD oil and it cuts down on cravings for junk food. No, I have no clue why. I just wouldn't take it while driving.
