I can't social. (A funny story)

Today as I was leaving my karate school, I saw a woman unloading these huge easels from a van. (our school shares a large building with a carpet store, a church, a massage therapist and a hair salon, so I assume that someone from one of those other places was going to use them) and as I really enjoyed painting as a kid, and these are really neat looking big easels, this conversation happened.

Me: "Are those easels?"
Her: "Erm. Yes."
Me: "I like easels."
Her: "Yeah. They're industrial ones." *Looks at me like I'm nuts and scurries inside*
Me: *gets into my car and silently berates myself for sounding like a crazy person*

This is what happens when I deviate from my social scripts. :rolleyes2:

Sounds like a pretty typical conversation to me :P. Asking a question you already know the answer to, stating a fact that can be inferred. The better question is; how many conversations do you have in which this does not occur?
