i'm 22 now.
at school everyone had freinds because they were considered normal compared to me, they still had freinds years later, i feel very depressed sometimes that i can't hang out with anyone like me because there arn't many aspergers people in my area, i hjave my freinds from work but there all way older than me , i don't go out socialising because the thought of it terrifies me
anyone have any ideas or advice
any ideas or advice would be much apreciated

I am the same as you so I can't think of any advice really. I have not socialised, i have no friends (one friend online) and don't want to socialise and most people do not get my autism either.

Same here, I have always had very few friends. And even keeping them online is a chore. Sometimes it seems pointless, but you should try to. I go through periods where I have the intense need to be alone and can't be around anyone. But then go through equally opposite periods where I have this intense and burning desire to connect with others, females only. Especially those who are similar to me. These feelings get so serious I can't even control them sometimes. And when I don't get it or it doesn't work out it can feel like the most empty, sad, and helpless feeling imaginable. So it's just a matter of opposites in how we feel, look at things, and experience them. But having the right people around you that understand you and care can be so nice, even if it seems out of reach right now.
