I feel like drawing (Contest with prize)

Hello,

I feel like drawing, but I cant decide what to draw. So here is the deal, you post some image of an animal/creature/person/anime character.

I will choose one of the images. That will be the contest winner. I will draw the image, with an inscription for that forum user, and will post it (that will be the prize for the winner).

You can suggest what kind of inscription you want in case of winning, but I may addapt it so it feels honest for me to writte it.

There's plenty of other images of her out there too, the game she's from (Cave Story) has been out a bloody long time at this point.

Ooh, that is very well done. Very well done indeed. Particularly with the expression, going along with that quote fits her personality pretty well.

How did you learn to draw like that? It's colored pencils... yeah? Or is it something else? I know when I use the things it sure doesnt come out like that (I struggle a lot with shading, dunno how to do that). How long did it take to make?

Also I'd like to say for the record, I can understand why you'd want to move to digital. I only very recently took a serious stab at drawing anything digitally (using my iPad and Procreate), and hoboy is it ever easier and faster. Granted I'll still use all my physical stuff (gets me away from the PC) but still... what a massive difference it is. Particularly when it comes to mistakes. Fixing a mistake in a digital creation? Easy. Fixing a mistake in a physical creation? uuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh. Basically like that.

I learned to draw by drawing, I liked to copy animals from books until I started playing role games and moved to dragons and monsters. Now there are very good drawing channels at YouTube so its easier to learn properly.

Its colored pencils, I just bought them today so first time using them. I usually draw(ed) just by pencil whitout any colours. Just Shadows.

I choosed her because I find dificult to draw anime girls and It was somewhat important for you and also liked the character and powers.

It took about 2 hours, I think.

By moving digital I mean that I will save the picture of my hand drawings and discard the originals. I just have some originals from when I was a teenager and used my drawings to express my inner darkness. I dont want to store more stuff.
