I got accepted as a writer for an indie game!

Feels good for something good to happen to me. I’m in an art discord server and someone was advertising that they needed a scriptwriter for their game. The game has several coders and artists already but the head writer kinda quietly left the project. Just wanted to say this because I’m glad I have something to be proud of myself for

That's seriously awesome! Just remember (if this matters to you) that regardless of the outcome, your writing is probably always something to be proud of yourself for. I say this because I come across a lot of people who don't value their own work until it's validated by others, but that means it was good work all along! :)

This is a major thing. I have done notable screenwriting since 2002 and have wanted to write for games...but it's a very competitive market. You have won all the internets this day. Very awesome.
