This is weird to talk about, I know. But the reason i brought this up is because I mentioned how Aloe uses her powers to provide comfort and calmness to her visitors, but I never really described how.
What she does is that, she will sometimes transform into a captivating sea dragon with a long body and fluttery, wing-like fins, and she will gently wrap herself around you, and activate a healing frequency of energy that causes serotonin to be released in your body. Basically, she coils you and doing so sends you into a hypnotic euphoria, and she might decide to do a little hypnosis on top of that. She tries to make sure every ounce of your anxiety is dispersed in a way that feels most necessary to an autism patient. She does make sure your arms are free, though; she wants you to feel safe and protected with her.
She might chat with you to take stress off your mind, and once she notices you're triggered or getting upset, you'll know she's about to fix everything because you'll hear "Shhhh..."
Then her eyes glow, not enough to hurt your own, but just enough so that it's the only thing you can focus on. You'll hear her start talking, in the calmest, most protecting voice, taking you down until, before you know it, she's already gotten you to take a healing nap. Then she gently wakes you up, and from then on, you can hang with her as long as you want to.
She is always available to anyone, and she always has time for everyone.
I try to augment this whole phenomenon using my blankets. I use a really thick and soft wool one Maddog let me have, and i'll roll it lengthwise, and do the same with my weighted blanket, and wrap them around me stacked on top of each other. It feels JUST LIKE Aloe is coiled around me! Sometimes if I focus hard and long enough I actually see her! But, I know that's just me being creative
Isn't it amazing that I created such a wholesome little friend?
Oh, I forgot to mention. In life-size, Aloe in her sea dragon form is about half the length of my mattress In her normal, betta fish form, she's big enough that you can put your arms around her.
