Good plan. Withdraw while creating the illusion of not withdrawing. I like it.It has been a week since I last spoke to my mother. She has not chased me down yet. I have sent her a couple of grey rocking texts and I do not think she is on to me slowly and gradually slipping away into my own life.
Stop with the grey rocking texts. I don’t know what those are, but don’t send her any more. Cut her the hell out of your life completely. Block her. No more texts, no more e-mails. If you’re apprehensive about her being “onto you slowly and gradually slipping away into your own life,” that means you’re not slipping away into your own life, neither slowly nor gradually, nor sneakily, nor cleverly-under-her-notice, nor at all. Seriously, you’re trying to sneak away and hope she doesn’t notice? It has been a week since I last spoke to my mother. She has not chased me down yet. I have sent her a couple of grey rocking texts and I do not think she is on to me slowly and gradually slipping away into my own life.
