Idealism and materialism

Materialism is the meta-physical view that matter and determinist is all that exists. So if i'm materialist i'll mirror others, and when others are negative so do i also get negative.

But idealism is the Belief in supernatural things as Spirit? So maybe Belief in white lies.

So I have to chose between being materialistic/physical and spiritual/non-physical. In Islam both are important which produces "something else" if i get it right.

NFs, as INFP like me or INFJs whom i'll have to meet inshallah, they/we are called idealists. NTs as (Karl Martin INTJ a person) are called Rationalists.

Edit: And that's the best i have to offer

@Au Naturel [INTP And INTJ ENTP and ENTJ] are Ration-alists

Idealism: Any doctrine asserting that: (1) reality is equivalent to mind, spirit, or consciousness; (2) reality is entirely a mental construct; or (3) ideas are the highest type of reality or have the greatest claim to being considered "real".

Materialism: Any doctrine asserting that: (1) matter is the fundamental substance in nature; (2) all things, including mental states and consciousness, are results of material interactions of material things.

So how do these definitions from philosophy devolve into a purely subjective system of personality classification invented by people who had no relevant training in the subject matter?

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is an alleged assessment of one's personality type. It aims to classify how individuals view the world through a questionnaire, categorizing people based on four different dichotomies. It was developed by a mother-and-daughter team (Katharine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers) who had no formal education in any subject-related fields. Despite its widespread use in business (particularly in human resources departments), it is widely recognized as pseudoscience among reputable psychologists.

What inspired your initial post in this thread?
Around 1 october i thought first blue equates materialism, because i like blue, and blue is boy color. Because a man i know he'a ESFJ, as he says, told me everything is Physical. So i thought my Defenestration and Wakefulness and Prayer were all physical. So we're based on physical grounds, iNtuitive grounds.

Inevitably i'm starting to lie, to God although he sees me, so the thought of Idealism became appealing. I was reading philosophy... But i can't lie to God.

The split between Idealism and Ration-alism and Materialism, is evident in the KTS table at wiki starting from iNtuition not Sensing.

But i'll be religious and work hard as i can, technology also make it easier.

Edit: KTS inspired me
