Said it would be best to introduce myself here. I recently discovered I was autistic. I came to this realization because of a friend who is autistic, who is one of the few people I feel comfortable around. I also have a coworker with an autistic child who says I'm a lot like him. I also looked up autism in adults and it described me pretty accurately.

I've never been diagnosed, but then autism wasn't diagnosed very much unless someone was pretty extreme back in the 80s and 90s. At least now I can put a name to the reason I've always been the weirdo and outsider people prefer to avoid.

Hello and welcome to the inside of the outsiders’ club! Hopefully you will find comraderie and information here that is valuable to you.
