I'm oh so confused at the moment.
It says I have have a post on the forums, so.
Hiya, my name is Kaitlyn, I'm 15 and have Self Diagnosed Aspergers. My Grandmother says I have it and she is qualified to give out a formal diagnosis but my mother doesn't accept it. So until I get the formal diagnosis that my mother accepts, I consider myself a self diagnosed Aspie.
I also suspect I have Hyperlexia, and Restless Leg Syndrome.
It's been about two years now that I've suspected that I've had Aspergers, and when I first came to my mom about it which was about a year ago, she had laughed in my face and called me paranoid and that, excuse the term, people with Aspergers look retarded.
Well my mom is stubborn as a bull, I told her that Aspies actually look like regular people, but my mom wanting to be stubborn refuses to accept it.
She also says since I'm smart I can't have Autism. She is seriously undereducated.
