I am a 23 year old female student in Honolulu. I study Japanese and Asian Studies. I love comic books, comedy, cryptology and linguistics; and I have recently been formally diagnosed with Aspergers. Like many here, I'm sure, I knew, and so did everyone around me, from a very young age there was something "different" about me and the way I thought. Only now though, have I had the courage and the motivation, due to horrible circumstances, to finally seek out an answer. Now that I have it, I have found my way here to possibly discuss these differences with others who, hopefully, can understand where I am coming from. Perhaps, I can find a connection with you and you with me.

Hi, and welcome to AC! I think the "not fitting in" thing applies to a lot of us (all?). Im 39 and the only time I've ever felt like I did fit in to a group was .... here(!!!!!)

I'm finding this to be the case. I've only been here a day and already it's my first stop in the morning of message checking. :)
