Hello everyone. I had no idea I had a mild form of Aspergers until about three years ago when my therapist asked me to take a couple of online tests. After seeing the results and talking about them, I have grown to understand how this has played a major role in my life and relationships. It has been eye opening for me, but very hard to relate to others because no one would suspect that I am an Aspie. I definitely have some core Aspie characteristics and have been looking for a forum to relate to and with. I am in my early 40s and have the two best children in the world. I have been divorced for eight years and my Aspie traits seem to show up the most when it comes to relationships. I am here to find people who can relate to my obsessions, insecurities and to help myself understand Aspergers more.

Hi, and welcome to AC :)

Sounds familiar, aspergers does get in the way of relationships...(!)
