I came across a listing at Better Than English, a website dedicated to words in other languages that easily sum up ideas for which English has no equivalent. This listing for is for the words that Japanese use for the truth you believe and the truth you use for the rest of the world. Better Than English: Untranslatable Words for June 20

It seems like a useful concept for those of us who use scripts and masks to make ourselves more acceptable to the NT world. It truly IS a different culture to me, anyway.
