Karma SUX (I Didn?t Mean That!)

Do you ever get an irrational feeling like karma just kicked your arse?
It?s weird but, for lack of a better euphemism, sometimes I feel like all of a sudden I am getting payback for everything I ever did wrong.
EG;
If I miss out on buying something I really wanted!
A letter doesn?t come before a certain date!
A girl doesn?t look back while she?s walking away despite that I said hello and she said it back!

Then other times I feel as though the whole universe is smiling on me.
These feelings are not linked to depression, they are independent, I believe.
Do you get like this?

Not in particular. Yeah sure, we all have our bad moments. But in general, everything I did, and went sour, I got back at least as good, if not better.

If you never lose anything, I think it's hard to appreciate the moments you actually have it.

Besides; living more in the now and not being bothered by "oh crap, I missed out on something" helps me get along fine in terms not being angry cause I apparently didn't get it.

However, maybe I am a bit of pessimist (at least according to some) where I don't put expectations out there. Always aim a bit higher than you want, that way, things can only look better. Or just be more pro-active about it. To put it in your examples;
- If I were to buy something I really wanted, I'd aim for the new product (with the normal retail price), if a sale is going on, I'm saving money unintentionally, which to me surely is good, but I can't count on things being on sale if I want X.
- Send a letter with a date way ahead of time
- I don't expect people to smile back.

But then again, I don't live my life with regret, thus the entire "bad karma" thing goes past me.

Earlier this week I joked about karma on my facebook status-update though;
"My toast never falls on the buttered side...
but no one ever said anything about cream cheese"
