Lent 2025

Hi I thought I would start this thread as it is Lent for any thoughts or experiences with it. I did Ash Wednesday and did a lent group a couple of weeks ago. I hope to go to another group tomorrow.

I wanted to say this-this period Jesus was being tempted by the devil in the Garden of Gethsemane. I guess he found him just from roaming the earth but it was always in God's plan. I was thinking about Jesus, I think he was probably sensory to some extent with his hearing. I don't think he was neurodivergent having to be Lord and Master of a nation. Having meltdowns wouldn't have worked. I think though he could have heard evil plans of the devil in his ears, gifted.

I aim to do some more prayer myself during this period and my church does more events closer to the date. This is a very passionate period for many Christians.
