Let's start our own army of autistics

And take over the world because we need to clean up this poisonous world and make it good again.
Autistic army for the forces of good.
I can help you all.
Who's with me in making this world better?

The dinosauria existed for 120 million years. Our lineage only 3.5 million years. We have a long ways to go to be as successful as dinosaurs. With the destabilization of our climate, I think mankind may face a turn at punctuated equilibrium.

I'm in. Lower the carbon footprint, make living conditions fair for all, give food and medicine to all who need, education to all who want. Build a FAIR world, so that everyone gets all they need and some of what they really want. That's a worthy fight.
.
But I'm not into military (army). Can we just call it an "autistic movement"?

I will not indulge this.

Not that I disagree about the world. But nature has it's own way of dealing with things. And in truth, humanity will sooner destroy itself. Too much evil has been done to fix the damage anytime soon. Even if we do band together, we will add to the problem in our own ways.

I am all for letting the candlewick burn out, personally. The Earth will recover. Humanity will not. Not for some time. If at all.

I agree, sounds good. People need 2 recycle well and take care of the planet more.
And try their hardest to care about others.
And yes too much greed 4 money and taking advantage of others to get it and not really any good leaders.

I disagree, I have hope. At times it may seem dire but I believe in miracles.
There is always good out there and things worth fighting for.

Not to be dour about this. But no one, autistic or otherwise, is immune to giving to temptations. Power does things to people. And who would lead? Honestly. This is as doomed to fail as humanity's overall desire for control over everything.

It's fatal logic to assume that even the best of intentions aren't tainted by some form of selfish desire. Not to say that everyone is outwardly a selfish prick. But it's playing with fire to act upon one's own grievances out of malice. Even if it doesn't start that way.

You are right it is a hard world especially as an autistic.
An autistic does desire control and it is definitely hard for an autistic to let go of that.
But yes i do find autistics can be less superficial than others at times whereas neurotypicals can be more that way. Because it is such a focus on the internal for an autistic rather than the external.
But yes autistics can be undisciplined and give into temptation and thst is what can also happen to us.

Team leaders should not be hard to find.
.
and a coalition of local groups needs no grand leader, it would be about ideals.
.
not saying there would not be disagreements or different interpretations but bottom up works better than top down.

Or we could just nuke the planet, and start over.
What again!?!

What are you going to do about rations? I don't like different foods and when the meat is touching the stringbeans.

;)

@Tom
There always has to be an exception. Fine, we will order cafeteria trays, plus we need to focus on the bigger picture here, chickpea noodles or whole wheat noodles for the mac?

I can appreciate the sentiment, however logically I've done the math a long time ago. Mathematically we remain a struggling minority barely noticeable on anyone's radar. We do what we can, knowing it will seldom be enough.

Pity so few don't realize that autistic children still grow up to be autistic adults.
