I have been looking on line today at Fulgurites also known as Sea Glass. This is when the lightning hits the ground and fuses the soil and makes a formation...
The randomness of this is because in the severe storms we had for the last few nights #5 golf green took a major direct lighting hit. I am wondering if I should take the time to see if it formed a fulgurite under the green. I don't want to tear it up real bad, but so curious to see if there is one under there.
Here is one of a million examples of what a fulgurite can look like.
Here is a picture of what it did to the surface of the #5 green at work. I'm just not sure if I want to dig into the green to find nothing, or maybe something...
Anyone ever collected any Sea Glass? Gosh I am out in random Ville today?
