So, I'm going through wikipedia to see if there are certain movies within genres I like I should still check out. And then it dawned upon me. Why can't we have a thread like this on AC? A fair few people here watch a decent amount of movies, and thus are quite knowledgeable about movies. Perhaps there are some hidden treasures within specific genres you have missed.

Without people posting lists all over, I think it would be a better idea to have people post a few movietitles and ask if there's something similar to this.

Japanese post WW2 Black and White movies...f*ckin amazing...wish I could remember the titles.

Bollywood!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Once you get past the cultural costumes & singing etc...it's better than Hollywood especially when you pick one for the plot. Just ask an Indian for what kind of movie you want to watch.
