Agree, I think (as a male who has experienced this), that she is on to something.I found this and thought it may be of interest.

So why do the "experts" (from experience, I have become skeptical and cynical regarding their expertise) keep telling us that males and females are the same?
Yes if we take a moment to reflect after the dust settles on another self implosion, anxiety usually precedes the outburst. We're scared of something.Wow, this lady just described everything I've been going through for years. I've never thought of it as "anxiety" but according to this I have some severe issues that I should be seeing a therapist for. I've always thought of anxiety more as generalized worry and not generalized externalized anger. And the anger/temper has been something I've been aware of for years and worked to deal with unsuccessfully for years with a bottle of booze. Since going sober (1 year this Friday Oct 18th!) I've been better able to deal with all of the symptoms but they have never gone away, just became part of the general background.
Agreed. Just because we are different, doesn't mean one gender needs to be changed into the other. Unfortunately, there seems to be people that think otherwise, and are pushing to change us into the other gender. Vive la Difference!!When she says male anxiety is different, does she mean compared to female anxiety? So she's saying men and women are different? It's not breaking news, is it.
I'm a little sceptical to things like this, because there is a trend now, men needs to be fixed. We're broken apparently. We're different. And that's no bueno. But I think we're doing ok, no fixin' needed.
