Maybe an Aspie??

Hi all. I've recently been thinking that I may be an Aspie. I've taken the AQ, and I scored 36. Also, i scored ND 139/200 and 96/200 on the Aspie Quiz. I have always had difficultly making friends, have felt extremely uncomfortable in social situationss, clench my fists without knowing it, and *hate* it when people touch me. Also have comorbid MDD, GAD, and BPD. Any thoughts?

Well I'm a "maybe an aspie" too. But sticking a label on it doesn't make your problems go away. We are all unique. If you need to find a site where you feel comfortable to talk to people, this might be it. Anyway, welcome.

Welcome to AC.
If you're still researching Aspergers, a good book to read is Rudy Simone's book 'Aspergirls'. Also Tony Attwood's 'Complete guide to aspergers' is the definitive guide if you have the time.
Other than that, feel free to hang around, join in or start your own threads.

Hi, welcome to AC. :)

I'd say if you are on the cusp of greater self awareness, keep exploring and researching. I second zurb's recommendations. Stick around here, read and post. This is a great place to explore yourself in a supportive atmosphere. :herb:

Welcome to the restaurant at the end of the internet. Is MDD Major Depression? I know people who were diagnosed with that once.

I'm in self discovery mode also. I have all the books previously suggested. Highly recommend. Beyond psych labels, personal stories teach me most.
