I've been wondering how your presentation went.

I'm NT, but I've noticed I'm now not interested in my hobbies anymore (because if my present situation) so I must be getting more depressed. I'm trying to stay busy but don't have much concentration - any activity can't have much thinking involved. Also, I'm still exercising which it's getting difficult moving any body part but I have to keep doing it so what food I am taking in can digest. I also pray a lot, but that may not be for you. I'm listening to Christmas songs and that cheers me up and I'm trying to watch some funny movies. Oh, I have been reading a book by Dr. Phil on thinking positive and being more assertive in going for what you want in life.

So that's what I've been doing.

I am sorry that you are having such a hard time, Bel. You have some things in your favor already, as you are identifying the shutdown as such. Time is needed for an overtaxed brain to heal and recover. Can you find solitude, eat foods that make you feel happy, good, and well, maybe spend some time in nature, and have some hot baths? What elso helos is remembering "This is temporary." I have a good friend who's got lung cancer, and she reminds me of this when I'm having challenges.

If you can, and you feel open to it, you might want to try affordable community acupuncture. Here's a website where you can find a clinic. Acupuncture is the only thing that pulls me effectively right out of a shutdown. The cost can be only about $20/ treatment.

Whatever you decide to do, please be extra good to yourself right now. I am wishing you strength as you move through this. Remember to breathe.:leafwind:
