Meta AI and it's Logo - coincidence?

I just realised how much Meta's logo resembles a DNA strand. Is that a coincidence? Since Meta is putting $65 billion this year into developing it's AI to know everything about us, I'm glad I closed my FB account! See this link for more details, it's scary….. Meta Announces New Personalization Elements for Meta AI

So it's not because they trained their AI on Play School and The Wiggles? :)

I never use any of those social media type services, and as an outsider looking in it's sort of fascinating to watch the way things have been evolving. So many people have become slaves to that industry.

Isn’t it just a metal circle squished down on two “sides”? And then looked at from a different angle?

I’ve never used social media till this year. I was persuaded to try Instagram and I have found wonderful things on it. Stuff in the world I knew nothing about, but that could be because I live an isolated life. There’s new music, jokes, French lessons, cooking lessons. (I post nothing myself.)

I hate that Meta owns it. And WhatsApp.

It reminds me of one of the patterns we used to generate in school physics lessons on the oscilloscopes.

If it were meant to represent DNA, I don't see how it's a vey apt logo, as AI's don't have a huge amount to do with DNA directly, not to mention you wouldn't fit many base-pairs in it! Not exactly impressive, but then ChatGPT (et al) ain't exactly intelligent! Shed loads of knowledge, zero understanding of any of it.

The blue infinity sign rotated 90 deg is used by the Canadian Metis Association. They represent native/white citizens, who were completely ignored when Canada was created. They had to live in road ditches for a decade until we had our civil war over that. The war ended not far from here when both sides used up all their ammunition on warning shots, and then had to hurry home ahead of the snow.
