I checked other along with some of the other buttons. I love burritos, taquitos, taco salads, and some other meal that involves beans and a certain type of cheese over corn chips ( I don't know what the last one is called but it's delicious).

Two shredded beef tacos with white corn tortillas, refried beans, rice and a cheese enchilada with salsa verde. Then I can go to the electric chair a happy hombre.

Warden: "Do you have any last words?"
Me: "No sir. I'm good, had tacos for dinner. Much obliged."
Warden: "Bon voyage."
Me: "Yeehaw!"

In the meantime I just took some ground beef out of the fridge to thaw for tacos TONIGHT!

Never tried Mexican and very likely never will, the only food I have a texture issue with is beans. I've seen pictures of Mexican food, I couldn't possibly force myself to eat most of it.

Mexican food was practically unheard of in Australia until 10 or 15 years ago but we now have a very popular franchise in most cities - Guzman Y Gomez.

Always loved Mexican cuisine. Tacos (hard or soft shell), burritos, fajitas, nachos and quesadillas being my usual picks.

I’ve been meaning to make some Mexican rice at some point as well.

I used to have a texture issue with corn and shredded coconut when I was little but fortunately I outgrew those. I still can't eat a tomato though due to its taste and smell. Ironically I like a lot of tomato based sauces as long as I don't have to eat any chunks of tomato.

I love string beans and snake beans but can't force myself to eat Broad Beans, Lima Beans, Pinto Beans and those sorts. There's something dry and chalky about the texture that puts me off eating. Other than that I'll eat practically anything, there's a lot of foods that I don't like but will eat if I'm in company for the sake of politeness, beans are not on that list.

Right now, we only have access to Taco Bell. I like their five-layer burrito (w/ guacamole) better than their seven-layer burrito.
When I lived in other cities, other places had bigger, better burritos for less.

Our local frozen burritos have gone up, but Aldi still has a good price on them.

Speaking from before my stomach problems started:

I’m definitely a fan of Mexican food. Tortilla chips have also been a favorite. They’re great with salsa - even hot. I’ve definitely got a spice tooth. They’re also good with non-dairy cheddar cheese. I like vegan versions of the basics: Chili, tacos, burritos, fajitas, etc. Guacamole is the best - it makes a lot of those dishes really good.

They say New York City, where I live, is really not the place for Mexican food. But I enjoy what can be gotten here. It probably tastes more authentic in Texas or California.

It tastes quite authentic in Mexico. Guadalajara, Mexico City, mmm. In Cancun you have to hunt around a bit, but there are some good places, even vegetarian if that’s your preference. And it’s not hard to find good mezcal in that part of the country.
