We need mistakes to teach us how to learn.

We need failures to find outwhat doesn't work!

Failures are the stepping stones to success!

I, too, think mistakes can have an ultimately positive impact if we are willing to learn. It took a long time for me to believe this, but finally, I am sure of it.

I learn from most of my mistakes. Unfortunately not all, because I'm thick.

You don't need intelligence. You just need to remember what happened the last time you did whatever it was when it didn't work, and try doing something else the next time you do it! :D

We need mistakes We can't go back in time to correct them, but what we can do is try to avoid repeating them.

An odd quote came to mind. "80% of people are caused by accidents" or something like that?
What it means is we as people will naturally make mistakes, as it is how we find out the things that work.

When I started on the railway a railwayman told me "It is ok to make mistakes. Just try not to make any big ones!" :D

But seriously, if we don't learn both by our mistakes and themistakes of others, how will we be able to live?

The foolish person in life is the one who says they never make mistakes, as what they are saying is that they lie to themselves!

Yes, some of us make more mistakes than others, BUT the ones on the path to success are the ones who tried many failed paths before and learned which were the paths to success!

The least successful education teaches us the ways to success without teaching us about the failures. If we do not learn about the failures, then how can we adapt to new situations we have not come across in the future?

Think how many things that failed before ways were found to succeed?

Human flight! Now that had many failures before people invented clever ways to make it happen!

I just make the mistake of expressing myself too much. I don't know if it's because I like doing it (but sometimes hate the consequences).

I tend to repeat mistakes. Probably because I don’t think on my feet very well.

The thing is that when you’re an adult,
mistakes can be costly.

Impulse often gets the better of me, causing me to make the same mistakes over and over, becoming frustrated at the consequences.

Most mistakes I have learnt from, mind.

The biggest mistake is not to try. (Obviously one does not want to go down certain destructive avenues, so I am not talking about doing anything silly).

In Buddhism they say there are no problems, which I think is another way of looking at this. The problem is in our perspective, just like a mistake can have a positive aspect in teaching us.
