I mean, who really can't appreciate a good virgin pina colada while standing in the rain?

Last night, I had a decent cherry lime mocktail at a Thai joint.

Giving up booze does not mean giving up fun drinks.

Ummm...pineapple and coconut juice...always welcome. I used to love buying those little cans of Kerns pineapple & coconut fruit juice. Those were the days...when we also had those little cans of Borden's Milk Shakes you could find at the grocery store. LOL..man I miss those too.

Strawberry daiquiri. Drank them virgin all the time as a kid. When I turned 21, I finally tried one with alcohol. It was awful. For me, alcoholic beverages have to be 1. very very sweet, or 2. have very little alcohol contents. Otherwise, I just go with a mocktail.

I like tonic and orange juice occasionally maybe with a touch of grenadine / cherry juice, or Coca Cola mixed with a little coffee and a splash of heavy cream.

I make Virgin Marys with low sodium V-8 juice. The fun part is adding a stick of celery, a pickled green bean or pickled okra, a piece of bacon or whatever I feel like to the glass. The drink needs to be icy cold without adding ice which would dilute it, so I keep the V-8 juice in the refrigerator. I like wine and rarely drink any kind of hard liquor, and I never drink beer.
