Moon: Remix RPG Adventure.

Has anyone played this game? It's an RPG where the gimmick is that there is no battles and you gain love points instead of EXP.

I just beat the game and the ending was insane. Some serious End of Evangelion-like stuff.

Are there any fans of this game on the forums?

Looks old, u should try omori if you like rpgs.

It IS old. '97, I think it was. Japan-only release. And then recently appeared in English on the Switch.

100% not my sort of game whatsoever, but still, interesting to see.

I was gonna mention this game to you in a PM. I was gonna say how this game fixed that problem I had with Minecraft I mentioned in that other thread.

In moon in start out without knowing any real endgoal on beating the game, however you are given the very basic and "general" goal of finding love points. This is an incredibly nonlinear and large part of the game.

Throughout the game you gain love by helping people or catching dead animal ghosts like they're Pokemon. But afaik, I can remember only 7 (Out of many, many, more) specific events where you gain love that are mandatory for beating the game. So you otherwise basically have true freedom like how Minecraft promises, but it's way more structured and superior to it IMO.

Sorry if this got a little rambly.
