Here goes, I do this every year, photos mainly of people and classic cars, and some landscape (limited)

In summary, I feel like I've had better years, weather was a little weird at times, wrecking a few events and things, and yes I do live in a land of winter...

 
Those are great photos! I especially was struck by the high quality of the B&W people shots. They didn't suffer at all by not having color.
 
This is really good Sherlock, and well put together. I like how you capture both the empty and open spaces of the west. It's hopeful, young, forward looking culture is something I didn't expect until I saw the photographs. It really does give a sense of time and place. Congratulations.

Truly magical! Your pictures somehow make the people in them look like incredible actors or something!

Why would they suffer, there is a place for B&W in contemporary photography, often distracting colours, it also draws the viewer deeper into the composition where colour can distract...
