My epic classic car show weekend

(Part 1), starting tonight after work and a trek to the A&W cruise night... Only a few people were there but it was well worth going... One photo, a 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood, that I last photographed in the same parking lot back in October 2019, possibly the last time he drove this car based on the conversation tonight... Just like the previous time the owner came and went rather quickly... Next up is a classic car swap meet tomorrow, and then the first springtime car show on Sunday... I'm going full bore this weekend! :D After winter and no classic car things for too many months, just the reality of life in Canada...

That's cool. I am not a gearhead but I did used to peruse the Hot Rod and Lowrider magazines that would be laying around the break rooms at work. Certain old Camaros and Firebirds were a blast to cruise in.

The car shows are starting here today also.
One of my favourites is in a large state park.
Unfortunately the forecast is rain possible anytime today.

There were thunderstorms here, Friday evening. :(

Breakfast right now at Blackfoot Truck Stop before heading to stop number two of the weekend... A traditional spot for excellent grub... Then a one hour drive up north...:)

(Part 2); The drive to the swap meet was well worth it, I just love the atmosphere of these swap meets even though they aren't a traditional car show... Two photos, one more day to go, and a car show...

Golden, Colorado has the Golden Super Cruise every month. They set up a route for the cars to drive past the crowd all afternoon. They usually get hundreds of classics.

(Part 3)

The car show day, it was good, still a little chilly... Feeling a little tired right now after a rather active weekend... Three photos from today, and tons more photos to work through and edit ...

Love the cars, but especially the dogs. I see a Leonberger, a Greyhound or Greyhound mix, an Australian Shepherd, and some indistinguishable mixed breeds (can't see their faces, otherwise I could guess lol.)
Leonbergers are still pretty rare. It's nice to see that you have some in Canada.

The guy with the big Leonberger is quite active in our local car shows, that dog always draws a crowd...
