My Family Christmas today

I spent yesterday cleaning and doing last minute stuff. Now - it's the wait. We decided on 2:00 and it looks like everyone may be getting here before 2. Yay!!! Well, guess I shouldn't count my chickens before they hatch, right?
My day started off kind of bad and really upset over a problem jumping up at me first thing this morning, but I managed to put it aside until later. I don't want things messing up today. I've got bacon wrapped smokies with syrup and brown sugar in the oven, a pineapple dip, meatballs with a Hawian sauce , pimento cheese pinwheels and a triple chocolate cake. I'll be away from the computer - except when my grandkids want to get on here and play search games. I'll hopefully have lots of good things to share later on tonight.
I'm excited about new family photos - my 4 kids, their spouses, and 10 grandkids. Not an easy picture to take. lol
Hope you all have a good day today.

I love pimento cheese pinwheels and chocolate cake. Try and enjoy the rest of the day Pats, after all that work. And take a nap if you can.
Happy Christmas

It was an excellent day. Everyone brought good food and everyone was here EARLY. :) 1:00 till about 8:00. Everything was good and I'm exhausted and will need several days to recover - but well worth it. Tried to get a picture with me and the grandkids, but that didn't happen. lol

That's great @Pats and I certainly hope you were able to enjoy the gathering.
It's just me and my house share partner. The odd couple.
I'm the Christmas fairy and he's the, yep...

Those are good pictures Pats, you have a nice family. Didn't realize that you are a crochet artist. They are really well done.

I'll be going home in a few hours to spend Christmas with my parents. I should be back on the 26th. I wish everyone a safe and autism-friendly holiday.
