My special interest is Coins! Specifically rare die varieties and Jefferson nickels. I have a sizable collect and compete in a national registry for coin collections known as the PCGS Registry (professional coin grading service)
I have always wanted to attend a big coin show but was so apprehensive of the noise and volume of sensory input.
I finally went to a tiny small show last year to prepare for the major show at the Long Beach Exposition in Long Beach California.
Here is my “show report” or diary of the two days I attended. The write up is too large to post here, so here is the link to the original write up on the coin forum I am usually on
1st Long Beach, a beginner’s show report.

And here is a link to my favorite set, ranked #3
PCGS Set Registry - Published Set Jefferson Nickels FS Complete Variety Set, Circulation Strikes and Proof (1938-Present): Aspie-Rocco Variety Dream Set

Congratulations on making it to the show. I share your enthusiasm, as I also collect stamps, coins, and paper currency. I like the old stuff. It's like touching history.

Cool. I love coins, not for value, they just feel substantial in my hand.
You took great photos too.

I like coins a bit. I have a small collection, mainly picked up in my travels. My favorites are two roman coins I picked up in Trier Germany. One is silver and one bronze.
