My life resides on here

The Penguin

Chilly Willy The Penguin
From the date I joined in August of last year, I can't think of a day I haven't been on here. My life is pretty much on here. Whether I'm at home, working, or even in public, I normally will be on here. It's my main communication channel as it's hard to find people accept me as is outside this site.

I joined in November, and I can't figure out if this is my current 'obsession' or if it's become life-as-usual. Either road, I'm glad this place exists. Despite a contract job, and church, and a family, it's my hangout for weighing things and making friends...if only in what Julian Dibble calls my tiny life' (life online - his book about what happened to him when he created an identity for himself and watched what happened online, including criminal activity). His finding was that what happens here is as emotionally real as what happens IRL.

I also find that I am on here a lot. If really helps me to see others dealing with the same things that I am. I can identify with someone.
