The other day, my husband was on the phone with our Sister-in-Law (his twin brother's wife). We were in the car and he had her on speaker phone.
She is quite the gossip and loves to talk about family drama. I listened intently as she went on and on about the dysfunction of family gatherings and how she didn't trust one our other Sister-in-Laws. She then went on to say "that's why I like Shawn. She's just normal. She tells it like it is."
I couldn't help but smile. One of the more glaring traits of Asperger's, honesty to a fault/being matter-of-fact, apparently makes me "normal" in the eyes of my SIL. [emoji23]
