My son needs help with science project

My son, 13 and aspie, is doing his science project on aspies vs. neurotypicals identifying smiles. He hopes to increase understanding of Asperger's at his school. We could really use help in populating the data with more aspies. If you would like to help here is my son's message:

Hello, my name is Dylan Boswell, and I am in the 7th grade at Indian Land Middle School. This year for my science fair project I would like to test who is better
at telling the difference between genuine (Duchenne) smiles and fake (non-Duchenne) smiles; neurotypicals or aspies. I could use your assistance in
taking an online test and sending me your results. It should only take about 15 minutes!

Instructions:
The online test can be found at BBC - Science & Nature - Human Body and Mind - Spot The Fake Smile

It will ask you 2 questions before the test, then show you 20 different people smiling. You will have to choose whether you think that the smile is real or if
it is fake. At the end of the test, it will give you your results.
*It's possible the link may not work on some tablets or mobile phones.

Results (please return these to me):

Your Age:
Your Gender:
Aspie or Neurotypical?:
Your Outlook on life (Scale of 1-7, 1=optimistic, 7=pessimistic):
Your Confidence in spotting a fake smile (Scale of 1-7, 1=not confident, 7=confident):
The number of Duchenne (Genuine) smiles you got correct:
The number of Duchenne (Genuine) smiles you got incorrect:
The number of Non-Duchenne (Fake) smiles you got correct:
The number of Non-Duchenne (Fake) smiles you got incorrect:
The distinguishing feature(s) you used to identify a smile:

At the end of the test, you will be able to see all 20 faces labeled with the correct answer (Genuine or Fake). Checkmarks and Xs will show whether you got the answer right or wrong.

Please email your responses above to [email protected]

I WILL KEEP ALL YOUR INFORMATION PRIVATE AND WILL NOT USE ANY NAMES IN MY FINAL REPORT.

If possible, I would appreciate your response by Sunday, January 19th. My project is due Tuesday, January 21st.

If you would like a copy of the results, I would be happy to send them to you.
Just let me know in your response.

Thank you very much for your help.

Sincerely,
Dylan Boswell

I know it's too late for the OPs assignment but this is actually a pretty interesting test - and I did quite well 15/20. Unlike the test on reading expression from pictures of eyes, I actually felt quite confident on this test (I actually thought I might do even better than the 15/20 before the score was given at the end)

I've only just spotted this thread, and am curious how the results panned out. I know from experience that I'm not too bad with pictures of faces (except for ones deliberately made to be ambiguous) because I have learnt the tricks and a picture can be analysed over time. It's far harder when people are in front of you in real life, moving around, chattering, etc.

I think it's a noble cause to increase awareness, and I hope he is doing well.
