My therapist is suggesting I break my goals into bite sizes.

I want to keep a spotless house, I want to go to school PT, I want to lose 60 more lbs, I want to stop spending money on games and movies.

My therapist suggested I clean one room of my house a day, start taking one class at a time, focus on losing two lbs a week, and stop spending money on games and movies.

And my sobriety from alcohol is still just one day at a time instead of for eternity.

Anybody want to come to my newly cleaned and organized house for a movie marathon with the thousands of films I already own? I can make popcorn.

Sounds like a perfect way to end a day. Maybe buy a game once a month because you stayed sober, you for the most part stuck to your food plan, and you spent at least 20 mins trying to check out classes a week. Like break it down, with bribery every four weeks. As long as you stayed focused on most of your goals, that's great.

Sounds like those Atomic Habits that are so trendy atm. Seems to be a method that works for many people, so it’s probably worth a punt.
