Hi, I'm here because of how I am :) I was assessed as AS in 1998 when at Uni but didn't really understand my diagnosis until I eventually started researching autism in 2013. I online-self-tested as a sperg some time before that but it was reading accounts by women authors that provided any kind of real understanding about AS & what living with it means. Well, aside from my previously car-crash-chaos life, which had fulfilled most of what author Rudy Simone calls "The worst expected outcomes of an undiagnosed & unsupported female". I'm really glad to find this Forum, it feels like the right time to be participating. Thanks. :)

Welcome aboard! I am happy to read you have come to an understanding and have joined the community. Best wishes

I smiled when I read your phrase "car-crash-chaos life" and again when you quoted Rudy Simone.

Thank you and welcome.

...erm...it's more likely a Tony Atwood quote actually, I now realize but Thanks for the warm words EdR & Rocco...
