Hi all….My girlfriend of 3yrs has broken up with me.
she is on the spectrum and diagnosed. My relationship with her was the most loving and caring I've ever had.Me 43 her 45.She even told someone only a week before breaking up about how much she adore me and loved me.
Then suddenly she broke up and now i understand the problems which were mostly mine which I'm working on to correct.Over the 3yrs together we only ever had one disagreement.
Has been 3 weeks now and she has informed me she is seeing someone else only days after break up and says she wasn't seeing anyone prior to break up which i believe as she is so honest.
Am totally heartbroken for this beautiful woman i understand the dynamics of her rebounding so quickly.
Question i have is how aspergers woman deal with break up and the rebound..??

Not a woman, however:

From talking to other people that are aspies, at least some of us can all of a sudden lose interest in something for no apparent reason. I know that could sound bad, but from personal experience, I had a girlfriend, she was an aspie also, and one day, the second I heard her voice I wanted nothing to do with her, I still can't quite explain why.

And, again, from personal experience, not sure about others, but I find it easy to fall for someone within a few hours of meeting them.
