I'm not really into films and TV but have been on Netflix, there isn't much choice is there, I find a movie recommendation, turn to Netflix and end up buying or renting it on amazon prime video, anyone else a bit meh with Netflix?

I dunno about everyone else but I always find anything that isnt Youtube to be really "meh".

Just the same crap over and over again. With ads. Bleh.

Netflix has Star Trek which is all right but I've seen it all.

Watching Lucifer on there at the moment, second season. That's not bad. I wouldn't mind if Netflix had more lighthearted comedy shows.

I can recommend www.archive.org, free to join ,but they need donations of books ,audio, video, art and financial, big businesses hate free sites like them ,not a lot of very up-to-date content but it's more interesting then the cranked out ,we got a lot of viewers crank it out again, I never see franchises I like ,movies ,TV etc,I bet the money men are sad that the golden goose isn't laying eggs for them,I love how door to door sellers of Netflix change the nicey nice face to angry ,if you don't want it ,how arrogant ,if I politely listen and they get angry .

when /if you join www.archive.org go !!!!!to the print disabled section !!!!tell them you're autistic you'll get content for 14 days !!!!!!instead of an hour!!!!!

I've just remembered if you go to YouTube and they will Inevitably block one of your choices try Vimeo or dailymotion I personally think YouTube is doomed .

I run out of things to watch on Netflix and it lacks any kind of inventory listing of what's available. The New York Times runs an article about once a month about shows available on Netflix and when those shows will rotate off but their selection of "recommendations" rarely, if ever, coincides with my taste in movies and TV shows.

Beware streaming services that you pay for, such as Amazon, because those services can sell their interests to someone else, and you suddenly no longer "own" what you paid for.

I've been buying DVDs during the pandemic. At least I own them forever and I can always sell them on eBay if I want to.

Well if you're not into films or tv then it makes sense that it's meh. And I feel the same way.

A whole lot of people are ending their Netflix subscriptions because of disgusting content on Netflix. I'm starting to see the same types of things on Amazon Prime too..

Wish we had the same choice in the UK ,but I can't afford a £2000 fine if I don't pay the TV licence .

Netflix has Castlevania for me and Stranger Things. It also has Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, but I watched that over Hulu instead. There's enough to watch a lifetime of stuff on any of these platforms, but it depends on what you like.

Maybe take up a new hobby like jigsaw puzzles, video games, computer games, or board games. Some forms of all these can be done remotely, some co-op as well and some solo. Some fast paced and some slow paced.

The Dragon Prince is good. Literally the only things I used to Netflix to watch were Avatar: The Last Airbender, Legend of Korra, and The Dragon Prince.

I like prime but it costs, the idea of a monthly sub to Netflix appealed to me, I will try documentaries, failing that ill go back to YouTube and treat myself to the odd prime vid.
I wish "kids" was online, a battered lad called Kevin, its only on DVD and I don't have DVD.
