New Girl On The Block

One world under God
Hi, I am an Aspie woman and don't even know how to get the help I need. I'm constantly googling Aspergers websites and just keep being overly frustrated at all the links that lead me right back to googling more. Ugh....I've sent dozens of emails asking, I scored 36 on the aspergers test and so, what's my next step? Who cares? I do. I care enough about myself to reach out, whether I get a kind heart or not. I know God put me on this Earth for a purpose and I won't give up until I fulfill that purpose.

At least here you may find out two things.

What traits and behaviors you may have in common with so many, and that in such a struggle, you are not alone.

Welcome to AC.

You mention the idea of having a purpose
and your determination to fulfill that purpose.

Do you feel that you know what that purpose is?

No, not exactly, but I don't believe I'm just a waste of space. Each of us was given a natural talent of some kind. I have yet to find mine.

What do you like to do?

What do you hate doing?
I once loved writing essays and poetry, but I 've lost that word flow and I am struggling to find it again. I love playing with my cats. I hate crowds. I love solitude. I love God. I'm just stuck in life right now.

I think I know that feeling.
Being stuck.

When I was away from home this week, for two days,
it seemed clear to me what I could be doing at home.

Not so clear once I am here, though.

I know what you mean. When I'm away from home for over a day, I get all kinds of great ideas....write a book, invent something useful,etc.....But, I get back to my place and, BLAH, lol

Will only go grocery shopping on Tuesday mornings because that's when there's very few people to deal with.

Welcome!!! You've come to a great place to find answers and an even better place to find friends. We're all over the spectrum here, so I'm certain you'll find the answers you're seeking. In the mean time, browse around, meet the gang, and make some new friends along the way.
Just joined today, still getting acquainted. Thank you. I look forward to everything this site has to offer. At this time, I can't even come up with questions I know I should be asking. o_O

If you are in the USA, look for the local chapter of the Autism Society of (your state). They usually have a lot of good resources available near you.
