Hi Everyone,
My name is Tracey and I have a 14 year old son who was diagnosed with Aspergers/HFA at the age of 7. Until recently he did not have many issues but since he started high school last fall, things have gotten really difficult for him. I am looking forward to checking out the parenting forum and getting some tips to help make things easier for him.

Welcome, I’m the father of a just gone 15 year old who has an ASD diagnosis. I hope you find what you’re looking for here, it’s a good place. :-)

Hi,
Hope it proves helpful. High School is a difficult time for many kids, neurotypical as well as on the spectrum.

Welcome to AutismForums! High school was bad for me too. The further you go in school, the more social it gets. I believe that all kids on the spectrum should get consoling to help them deal with their weaknesses and ,more importantly, take advantage of their considerable strengths.
