I watched the two hour special last weekend for this and it seemed so odd
I wasn't sure I'd like it.
But, I rewatched the first hour and I think it is going to be interesting.
Yes, the events in it are twisted and strange, but, it appears to be a very elaborate
game that was designed to make the four people involved understand their psyche
and why they feel something is very much missing from their lives.
Four personality types that start understanding themselves from participating in this
odd game of following the instructions that lead to the next experience.
So far there is a man that represents those who have a mundane, boring life of repeating the same thing everyday and lives alone. Personality is meek, low self esteem and accepting.
Second is a woman involved in the game.
She is pretty, sassy, and appears self assured. Yet has an empty feeling like a black hole
is eating her up inside. Resistant to trust love. Cargiver to her grandmother.
There will be two more players with their lifestyles and inner desires revealed.
So far it looks like one is happy and social, but, fearful of life.
The fourth is well educated and a scientific know it all that thinks he has it made.
My guess is by the end they are supposed to find themselves and gain a greater
understanding of self. Maybe... it IS very strange with more than the material
world around them that leads them all together to ELSEWHERE.
I enjoy shows that are psychological twisters and keep you second guessing.
