New song... For You

Storm Hess

Permanent Spaceman
A very personal song about autism and relationships.

Lyrics by Storm Hess
Verse

If I have five more minutes
I would slow down time on this highway
Tried to learn just by holding you
now making patterns on a blackboard ceiling

Verse 2
Paralysed and sinking sideways
another night on a souless journey
Can I take one more look around
maybe some god will pass by my way

Chorus
I sink beneath the leaves
Of these childhood trees
Cry where no one sees
Wish I would matter
…to me

Verse 3
One step forward is four steps underwater
alien on a unknown highway
A ghost sings another lullaby
see no faces passing my way

Chorus
I sink beneath these dreams
Where no one leaves
Smile beneath these trees
Wish it would
…for me

Verse 4
I think I have one more minute left
deep inside a cave that’s burning
Can’t pretend I know how you’re feeling
Smoke fills still staring at the ceiling

Chorus
Yes I know it’s you
Can you pull me through
Can you make it true
I would
…for you
Yes I know it’s you
Can you pull me through
Can you make it true
I would
…for you

Great track, Storm Hess. I thought the low end was really nice, but you still had depth in the sound. And a memorable melody. It sounded great on my stereo.

Like the song, enjoyed the vocals, like that the drums didn't overtake the song. l felt sad, but l still wanted to sing it.:)
