Hi guys, I live in NY, originally from Cuba. I was never diagnosed because I moved here as an adult and I didn't hear about this until a month ago where the puzzle started falling in place. Part of my main problems have been sensitivity to light, noise, and having tics and seizure due to stress and over stimulation. I have been treated by neurologist without any improvement. I might search for a diagnose soon but for a female in her 30s I have hear there is little help, so just knowing where my crazy behavior fits is enough fo r me for now to help myself to make sense of why and to find coping strategies. Looking forward to make some friends because right now I am alone in a world full of people that don't make much sense

Welcome to AC Anna,

Well, you're no longer alone, there's a whole world of aspieness here, diagnosed and undiagnosed (as well as a few NT's who just like hanging out).

Try out our great resource section too.

Enjoy your stay! ;)

Welcome to AC. Speaking as a late-diagnosed person myself, I can say, never underestimate the amount of help you can give yourself. "The Social Model" theory observes it's not all about you--or me--but I've found things do get better when I can tell the difference between what I can control and what I can't. Being here has helped that journey a lot, for me, and I hope it will do as much or more for you. Harrison54's right about the resource section.

cheers

Yes, fear not! The new lazer weapon is almost finished. The dawn of our new equality with NTs approaches. And best of all it will be available in six stylish colors!

;) & welcome
