Hello all,
I am a 25 year old male from New Zealand and I joined this site to read through the forums and have a place to ask advice from those who actually know more than neurotypicals due to possibly having similar issues/patterns and living with the sometimes troublesome aspects of our nature.
I have been studying at tertiary/college/university for several years but have found that while I am interested in learning and like some of the subjects I just can't "play the game" the way everyone else does and this has lead to a bumpy academic record along the way. I am now (due to lack of funding) in my last semester at higher education until I can self fund and now face the daunting task of entering employment. Hopefully nothing customer service oriented, but then the difficulty of getting into a job more suitable for my needs is quite slim, so a bit anxious about that.
Thanks for reading and look forward to chatting via forums (if I remember I have this account, I am also ADHD).
